Vancouver-born stylist Josh Taylor began his journey at The London School of Hairdressing in 1996, followed by training at Suki’s Academy. After moving to Calgary in 1998, he worked in various salons, honing his skills in delivering quality cuts with consistency and speed. Finding a balance between high-quality, efficient service and fair pricing, he spent 13 years at Lushus Concepts, where he built a reputation for a laid-back, unpretentious style. Josh has received numerous accolades, including a feature on the cover of Swerve Magazine as one of Calgary's top stylists (2005), third place at the national LA Biosthetics Awards, and recognition as a product ambassador for EVO Hair.

Josh’s vision led to the opening of Notorious in 2016, a salon focused on creating an enjoyable and easy-going experience for all clients. Known for his personal touch and professional expertise, he’s a family man and a people person who values lasting client relationships—his first Calgary client from 1998 even authored this bio!
