Level 7 Salon + Artist Collective was established to empower beauty industry artists with the freedom to express their unique brand and vision. Our mission is to create an inviting atmosphere where clients feel comfortable, conversations flow effortlessly, and guests leave feeling more confident in their authentic selves. We uphold core values of integrity, passion for our craft, and a commitment to education—both for ourselves and our clients.

Our Story
Level 7 Salon + Artist Collective emerged from a desire to challenge traditional salon models. Founder Anne Marie faced challenges upon moving to Calgary in 2015, including being let go from a job before starting due to her inability to commit to standard hours. Working at two other salons, she realized that the restrictive conditions did not allow for the balance she needed while raising her family. Determined to carve her own path, Anne Marie ventured into a private studio, leveraging her visual arts background.

After facing multiple rejections from commercial spaces, Anthem Properties recognized her innovative vision. In the spring of 2019, Anne Marie signed the lease for 226 Riverfront Ave SW, dedicating herself to opening a salon without any staff.

The Collective
Our team at Level 7 comprises independent artists who share a common vision for their careers and lives. We reject typical industry standards in favor of creativity, genuine connections, continuous education, and autonomy. Together, we bring over 80 years of combined experience, delivering exceptional results tailored to each client's needs.

Due to the unique and artistic nature of our work, we do not offer refunds or guarantees on services. Every service is custom-tailored following an in-depth consultation to ensure clarity about the client’s needs. We require full transparency regarding your hair history to achieve the best possible outcome. Failure to disclose important information may affect results and may necessitate additional appointments at an extra cost.

Bookings are on an hourly basis.
Please factor in time for set up, take down, and clean up within your booking to accommodate the next reservation.
